B. Assisting families with the essential but difficult tasks post passing e.g.
- Notifying Family, Friends Colleagues and Business Associates.
- Assisting with arrangement regarding the Funeral.
- Arrangements for Remembrance Service if required by the bereaved family.
- Packing up the personal belongings of the deceased thus ensuring that their Final Legacy lives on.
- Co-ordinating with the family and the executor of the estate as regard their wishes, to dispose of the items not bequeathed in terms of the Will and turning items into cash by way of sale by Auction or Private Treaty. Thus insuring cash available to Executor.
- Disposing of items of no value to the bereaved family and arranging that these are given to charities in need.
- Ensuring the welfare of family pets during the period of bereavement and arranging for the adoption should this be required.
- Ensuring security is in place should the bereavement result in the home being left unattended.
- Providing assistance to the Executor regarding the taxation requirements of the Estate. E.g. Capital Gains issues, finalisation of Personal Tax Assessments that may be outstanding and obtaining the relevant Tax Clearance requirements from SARS.
- Connecting families with charities in need.
C. Offering Companionship for terminally ill clients
Lisa's own life journey, with it's highs and lows, has been a source of inspiration for so many whether young or old.
Many of them ask Lisa for guidance and advice, even in their final hour.
